The Times Recorder, Zanesville, Ohio 22 July 1951 BITTER FIGHT FOR THRONE BREWING BETWEEN SONS OF SLAIN ABDULLAH "The assassin was killed by Abdullah's bodyguards on a doorstep of the Mosque of Omar where Abdullah died in Old Jerusalem yesterday.  The slayer was linked in reports from Amman and elsewhere with a 'sacred struggle organization' that was connected with the exiled grand mufti (Moslem religious and koranic law giver of Palestine.)" Here we see uncle Haj Idi Amin Offendsme (Yasser's uncle Haj Amin Effendi El Husseini) playing a role in yet another political asassination of a pro-peace Arab.  And to have King Abdullah of Jordan asassinated on the steps of the mosque of Omar shows the contempt uncle Haj Idi Amin offendsme has for his own holy sites. And today, the Palestinian Arab Authority shows the same contempt for the Christian and Jewish holy sites in Israel.

One significant aspect of the Mufti's operations is the way the nazis and the communists not only are using the same tactics, but bet their money on the same man.  During the war, Hitler and Mussolini paid the Mufti nearly half a million dollars.  And on April 5, 1945, just one month before the war ended, the nazis signed a contract with him to continue stirring up trouble in the Near East." "Though Hitler killed himself soon afterward, the Mufti is certainly carrying out his part of the bargain." The Bridgeport Telegram, Bridgeport, Connecticut 18 August 1951 TEN PERSONS ON TRIAL IN SLAYING OF ABDULLAH "A special military court begins today on charges of plotting the assassination of Jordan's king Abdullah." "Three of the defendents are relatives of Haj Amin el Husseini, exiled former Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who now lives in Cairo.  Two others are to be tried in absentia, since they are living in Cairo." "Abdullah was slain July 20 in Jordan-ruled old Jerusalem as he visited the Mosque of Omar.  The assassin, a 21 year-old Moslem tailor who was said to have been a follower of the Grand Mufti, was killed on the spot by Abdullah's bodyguard."
