The Concise Encyclopedia of Islam, p, 209: Jihad "Holy war", a
Divine institution of warfare to extend Islam into the dar al-harb (the
non-Islamic territories which are described as the "abode of struggle",
or of disbelief) or to defend Islam from danger. Adult males must
participate if the need arises, but not all of them, provided that "a
sufficient number" (fard al-kifayah) take it up.
An important precondition of jihad is a reasonable
prospect of
success, failing which a jihad should not be undertaken. According to
the Sunnah, a jihad is not lawful unless it involves the summoning of
unbelievers to belief, and the jihad must end when order is restored,
that is, when the unbelievers have accepted either Islam or a protected
status within Islam, or when Islam is no longer under threat.
"According to Muslim scholars, the word 'jihad' appears sixty times in
the Quran, Islam's holy book, and it means 'holy war' or 'holy
struggle.' But struggle against whom? War against what?' ...Modern
Muslims... take it to mean that an individual should constantly strive
to be a better person...."

In May 2001, Abu Sayyaf kidnapped 20 people, including three Americans,
at a Philippine resort and demanded ransom payments. Abu Sayyaf
beheaded one of the American captives and held the other two
Americans—a Christian missionary couple—hostage on Basilan Island in
the southern Philippines. In August 2002, Abu Sayyaf kidnapped six
Filipino Jehovah's Witnesses and beheaded two of them.
In January 2002 Al Qaida savages kidnapped Daniel Pearl in Pakistan and
decapitated him.
In March 2004 savages in Iraq attack a supply convoy, mutilate the
bodies of four Americans, burn them and hang the bodies from a bridge.
In May 2004, just to show that there is no end to the butchery, savages
in Iraq kidnap another American and video him being decapitated.
In
May 2004 Muslims have slaughtered an estimated 600 Christians
in Nigeria, according to the Christian Association of Nigeria.
"Hundreds of people were killed," said Christian leader Mark Amani.
"Some corpses were burned in wells. Even little children were killed.
"The bodies of pregnant women were ripped open and their bodies
burned," he said.
Scores of hacked bodies lie in the streets and in charred
buildings.
In Palestinian Arab occupied Gaza, formerly a part of Egypt, Islamic
Jihad savages set off a roadside bomb, killing 5 Israeli soldiers, the
force of the bombing tearing their bodies apart.
While yet another crowd gathers and collects the body parts, the head
of one soldier is proudly displayed on a table while a couple of
savages stand behind it, bragging about what happened.
A few days earlier, in Palestinian Arab occupied Gaza, formerly a part
of Egypt, two Palestinian Arab savages force a car carrying an eight
month pregnant woman and her four daughters off the road. They
then calmly shoot all five of them in the head, before riddling their
bodies with bullets.
They followed this butchery a week later when they attacked a memorial
service being held at the location, even going so far as to dress as a
Palestinian Arab woman so as to approach closer to the group..
And we must not forget how Palestinian Arab savages celebrated in the
streets as news of Sept 11, 2001 reached them, and the regularly
occuring homicide bombings.
All these events occurred on four different continents, in five
different countries, plus Palestinian Arab occupied Gaza, formerly held
by Egypt.
What is the one thing that these events have in common? They are
all done in the name of allah.
Are these just examples by radical islamists? Or are these events
so common that they are, in fact, part of the mainstream islamist
teachings? Lets look at a few examples from the Friday sermons.
Calls
for the Destruction of the U.S.
"Allah wreak vengeance on the Jews and the Americans" is a common theme
heard in PA sermons, as with Sheikh Ahmad Abd-Al-Razek's sermon on
October 4, 2002. [1] Frequent calls for the destruction of the main
allies of the U.S. - Britain and Israel - are also heard. As Sheikh
Ibrahim Madhi stated, "Allah willing, this unjust state will be erased
- Israel will be erased; this unjust state, the United States, will be
erased; this unjust state, Britain, will be erased." [2]
Themes of Arab hatred of the U.S. within sermons often have Islamic
historical undertones. For example, the leading Palestinian religious
figure, Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories Sheikh
Ikrimeh Sabri, stated in a sermon on PA radio, "Allah, destroy the
U.S., its helpers and its agents. Allah, destroy Britain, its helpers
and its agents. Allah, prepare those who will unite the Muslims and
march in the steps of Saladin. Allah, we ask you for forgiveness before
death, and mercy and forgiveness after death. Allah, grant victory to
Islam and the Muslims…" [3] The U.S. and its allies are also commonly
referred to as Christian and Jewish Crusaders who must be fought. For
example, Dr. Ahmad Abu Halabiya, speaking at a mosque named after UAE
President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, stated, "Allah the
almighty has called upon us not to ally with the Jews or the
Christians, not to like them, not to become their partners, not to
support them, and not to sign agreements with them… Allah, deal with
the Jews, your enemies and the enemies of Islam. Deal with the
Crusaders, and America, and Europe behind them…" [4]
2003:
The Year the American Crusader War Against Islam Began
In the year 2003, a common theme which emerged in PA sermons is that
the U.S has begun a Crusader war against the Arabs. Sheikh Muhammad Abu
Al-Hunud stated in a sermon on March 28, 2003, "If, God forbid,
something happens to Iraq, the aggression and the Crusade will turn
tomorrow against the Koran… God forbid, his second assault is on the
Koran, [he wants] to change verses and to mess with Allah's book, to
Americanize the region, Americanize the religion, Americanize the
Koran, Americanize Muhammad's message… To my brothers in Iraq, to the
President of Iraq, to the Iraqi leadership, to the Iraqi people…
Strike, my brother; may your right arm, oh proud Iraq, be strong…
strike Allah's enemies with it. Strike with it the enemies of humanity…
from the pulpits of Al-Azhar and other mosques around the world, that
any Muslim who does not stand by Iraq and support it against the
American-British-Crusaders cruel attack… Allah, grant victory to the
Iraqi army… Allah, defeat America and its allies… Allah, purify the
Islamic soil from the American and British treason and defilement…
Allah, make their possessions a booty for the Muslims, Allah,
annihilate them and their weapons, Allah, make their children orphans
and their women widows…" [5]

Now its time for brief history lesson. Hussein bin Ali,
Mohammed's grandson, was decapitated in Karbala, Iraq (sound familiar?)
By the ruling Caliph. Then his head, and the heads of the other

Mohammed made a habit out of decapitating his enemies. According
to Ibn Ishaq, official biographer of Mohammed, Mohammed ordered the
massacre of the Quraish. Nearly 900 men were beheadedin Median,
while the women and children were sold into slavery.
And what does the Koran say about decapitation?
Surah 47:4 Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is
smiting of the necks until, when ye have routed them, then making fast
of bonds; and afterward either grace or ransom till the war lay down
its burdens. That (is the ordinance). And if Allah willed He could have
punished them (without you) but (thus it is ordained) that He may try
some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of
Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain.

Mohammed's new religion kept reaching out from its base in the Arabian
desert, conquering new lands and making new converts from its
captives. It spread west, across North Africa, and in 711 it was
in Spain. By 733 the sword of islam had reached all the way to
Poitiers in France, where its spread was stopped. But the sword
of islam held on in Spain until 1492, when Granada was conquered by
Ferdinand and Isabella.
They may have been repelled from Europe, but they said they would
return. Now fast forward to the 21st century. Prof Yonah
Alexander, director of the Inter-Universities Center for Terrorism
Studies, said in an interview that he believes it is only a matter of
time before terror groups use non-conventional weapons to spread their
jihadist ideology and undermind western society. He also believes
that Europe will be their next theater of operations, where networks
already exist.
This terror network was illustrated in the March 11, 2004 Madrid
bombings.
"What concerns many is the expansion of international networks as seen
after the Madrid bombings, when links were discovered between Spanish
citizens and people in North Africa, Asia and with various other
groups, like Hamas," Alexander said.
Islamists can draw from the many moslem communities around the
world. Earlier in this article I mentioned the phillipines,
Pakistan Iraq, Nigeria and Palestinian Arab occupied Gaza, formerly a
part of Egypt. Chechnya, Kashmir, Afghanistan, South America are
also seeing Mohammedan induced violence.
Already, Europe has seen a rapid growth in anti-semitism. Most of
the attacks against Jews in Europe are carried out by Moslems.
This Judeopathy they are creating, in turn, encourages further hatred
of Jews and Israel.
Orianna Fallaci, author of La Forza della Ragione (The Force of Reason)
writes, "Europe becomes more and more a province of islam, a colony of
Islam."
Two factors leading to her conclusions are
1. Europe is expeditiously becoming post-Christian. In the past
two generations the number of bible-believing Christians has dropped so
far that it is becoming the new dark continent

that Britain's mosques host more worshippers than the Church of
England.
2. Low birth rate. A birth rate of 2.1 children is required to
maintain the current European population. Yet the birth rate is
1.5 children.
Almost 20 million Europeans identify themselves as Moslems. This
accounts for 5% of the population. When you add the increasing
immigration rate of Moslems and their higher birth rate, you have a
growing European Islamic community.
On top of all this we have another phenomenon- islamic converts.
The Feb 22, 2004 issue of the Sunday Times carried a report about some
of Britain's top landowners, celebrities and children of of many

A foreign Office diplomat, Charles Le Gai Eaton and author of ISLAM AND
THE DESTINY OF MAN, wrote, "I have received letters from people who are
put off by the wishy washy standards of contemporary Christianity and
they are looking for a religion which does not compromise too much with
the modern world."
In the past few years we have Richard Reid, AKA the shoebomber and
another British citizen who planned a terrorist attack in
Israel. Both were converts to Islam and both were caught before
they could complete their mission.
All this plays a part in the growing anti-semitism running rampant in
Europe. In France, with a 10% mohammedan population, the problem
has gotten so bad that the government was forced to admit that they had
a problem.

Centering did a study on anti-semitism, then didn't want to announce
its results. The results were leaked anyway, and on March 31, 2004 a
