- Mt:2:1: Now when Jesus was born
in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there
came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
- Mt:2:3: When Herod the king had
heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
- Mt:3:5: Then went out to him
Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
- Mt:4:25: And there followed him
great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from
Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
- Mt:5:35: Nor by the
earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is
the city of the great King.
- Mt:15:1: Then came to Jesus
scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
- Mt:16:21: From that
time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he
must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and
chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the
third day.
- Mt:20:17: And Jesus
going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way,
and said unto them,
- Mt:20:18: Behold, we go up to
Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests
and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to
death,
- Mt:21:1: And when they drew nigh
unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives,
then sent Jesus two disciples,
- Mt:21:10: And when he was come
into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is
this?
- Mt:23:37: O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are
sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together,
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
- Mk:1:5: And there went out unto
him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all
baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
- Mk:3:8: And from Jerusalem, and
from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a
great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came
unto him.
- Mk:3:22: And the scribes which
came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of
the devils casteth he out devils.
- Mk:7:1: Then came together unto
him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from
Jerusalem.
- Mk:10:32: And they were in the
way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were
amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the
twelve, and began to tell them what things should
happen unto him,
- Mk:10:33: Saying, Behold, we go
up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief
priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and
shall deliver him to the Gentiles:
- Mk:11:1: And when they came nigh
to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he
sendeth forth two of his disciples,
- Mk:11:11: And Jesus
entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked
round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he
went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
- Mk:11:15: And they come to
Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast
out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables
of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
- Mk:11:27: And they come again to
Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there
come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,
- Mk:15:41: (Who also, when he was
in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other
women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.
- Lk:2:22: And when the days of
her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they
brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
- Lk:2:25: And, behold, there was
a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just
and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel:
and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
- Lk:2:38: And she coming in that
instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all
them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
- Lk:2:41: Now his parents went to
Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
- Lk:2:42: And when he was twelve
years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
- Lk:2:43: And when they had
fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in
Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
- Lk:2:45: And when they found him
not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
- Lk:4:9: And he brought him to
Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him,
If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
- Lk:5:17: And it came to pass on
a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and
doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every
town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord
was present to heal them.
- Lk:6:17: And he came down with
them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a
great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the
sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed
of their diseases;
- Lk:9:31: Who appeared in glory,
and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
- Lk:9:51: And it came to pass,
when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set
his face to go to Jerusalem,
- Lk:9:53: And they did not
receive him, because his face was as though he would go to
Jerusalem.
- Lk:10:30: And Jesus
answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho,
and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and
wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
- Lk:13:4: Or those eighteen, upon
whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were
sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
- Lk:13:22: And he went through
the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
- Lk:13:33: Nevertheless I must
walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be
that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
- Lk:13:34: O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent
unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a
hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
- Lk:17:11: And it came to pass,
as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria
and Galilee.
- Lk:18:31: Then he took unto him
the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all
things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall
be accomplished.
- Lk:19:11: And as they heard
these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to
Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of
God should immediately appear.
- Lk:19:28: And when he had thus
spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
- Lk:21:20: And when ye shall see
Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof
is nigh.
- Lk:21:24: And they shall fall by
the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations:
and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of
the Gentiles be fulfilled.
- Lk:23:7: And as soon as he knew
that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who
himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
- Lk:23:28: But Jesus
turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me,
but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
- Lk:24:13: And, behold, two of
them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from
Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
- Lk:24:18: And the one of them,
whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a
stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to
pass there in these days?
- Lk:24:33: And they rose up the
same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered
together, and them that were with them,
- Lk:24:47: And that repentance
and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem.
- Lk:24:49: And, behold, I send
the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of
Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
- Lk:24:52: And they worshipped
him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
- Jn:1:19: And this is the record
of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask
him, Who art thou?
- Jn:2:13: And the Jews' passover
was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
- Jn:2:23: Now when he was in
Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name,
when they saw the miracles which he did.
- Jn:4:20: Our fathers worshipped
in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men
ought to worship.
- Jn:4:21: Jesus saith unto her,
Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this
mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
- Jn:4:45: Then when he was come
into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen
all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also
went unto the feast.
- Jn:5:1: After this there was a
feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
- Jn:5:2: Now there is at
Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew
tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
- Jn:7:25: Then said some of them
of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?
- Jn:10:22: And it was at
Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
- Jn:11:18: Now Bethany was nigh
unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
- Jn:11:55: And the Jews' passover
was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up
to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
- Jn:12:12: On the next day much
people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was
coming to Jerusalem,
- Acts:1:4: And, being assembled
together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from
Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye
have heard of me.
- Acts:1:8: But ye shall receive
power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be
witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
- Acts:1:12: Then returned they
unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a
sabbath day's journey.
- Acts:1:19: And it was known unto
all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in
their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The
field of blood.
- Acts:2:5: And there
were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation
under heaven.
- Acts:2:14: But Peter, standing
up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto
them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this
known unto you, and hearken to my words:
- Acts:4:6: And Annas
the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as
many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together
at Jerusalem.
- Acts:4:16: Saying, What shall we
do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by
them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot
deny it.
- Acts:5:16: There came also a
multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem,
bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits:
and they were healed every one.
- Acts:5:28: Saying, Did not we
straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and,
behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to
bring this man's blood upon us.
- Acts:6:7: And the word of God
increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem
greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
- Acts:8:1: And Saul was
consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great
persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were
all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria,
except the apostles.
- Acts:8:14: Now when
the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received
the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
- Acts:8:25: And they, when they
had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem,
and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
- Acts:8:26: And the angel of the
Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the
way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
- Acts:8:27: And he arose and
went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority
under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her
treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
- Acts:9:2: And desired of him
letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found
any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring
them bound unto Jerusalem.
- Acts:9:13: Then Ananias
answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil
he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
- Acts:9:21: But all that heard
him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed
them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for
that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
- Acts:9:26: And when
Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the
disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he
was a disciple.
- Acts:9:28: And he was with them
coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
- Acts:10:39: And we are witnesses
of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in
Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
- Acts:11:2: And when
Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision
contended with him,
- Acts:11:22: Then tidings of
these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem:
and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
- Acts:11:27: And in these days
came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
- Acts:12:25: And Barnabas and
Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry,
and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
- Acts:13:13: Now when Paul and
his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and
John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
- Acts:13:27: For they that dwell
at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the
voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have
fulfilled them in condemning him.
- Acts:13:31: And he was seen many
days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are
his witnesses unto the people.
- Acts:15:2: When therefore Paul
and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they
determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go
up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
- Acts:15:4: And when
they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church,
and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that
God had done with them.
- Acts:16:4: And as they went
through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that
were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
- Acts:18:21: But bade them
farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in
Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed
from Ephesus.
- Acts:19:21: After these things
were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through
Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After
I have been there, I must also see Rome.
- Acts:20:16: For Paul had
determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in
Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem
the day of Pentecost.
- Acts:20:22: And now, behold, I
go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that
shall befall me there:
- Acts:21:4: And finding
disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the
Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.
- Acts:21:11: And when he was come
unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and
said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews
at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver
him into the hands of the Gentiles.
- Acts:21:12: And when we heard
these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go
up to Jerusalem.
- Acts:21:13: Then Paul answered,
What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be
bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the
name of the Lord Jesus.
- Acts:21:15: And after those days
we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.
- Acts:21:17: And when we were
come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.
- Acts:21:31: And as they went
about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of
the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
- Acts:22:5: As also the high
priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from
whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus,
to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.
- Acts:22:17: And it came to pass,
that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I
prayed in the temple, I was in a trance;
- Acts:22:18: And saw
him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem:
for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.
- Acts:23:11: And the
night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer,
Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou
bear witness also at Rome.
- Acts:24:11: Because
that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days
since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
- Acts:25:1: Now when
Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended
from Caesarea to Jerusalem.
- Acts:25:3: And desired favour
against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in
the way to kill him.
- Acts:25:7: And when
he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round
about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which
they could not prove.
- Acts:25:9: But Festus, willing
to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to
Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?
- Acts:25:15: About whom, when I
was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed
me, desiring to have judgment against him.
- Acts:25:20: And because I
doubted of such manner of questions, I asked him whether he would go to
Jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.
- Acts:25:24: And Festus said,
King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this
man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both
at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any
longer.
- Acts:26:4: My manner of life
from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at
Jerusalem, know all the Jews;
- Acts:26:10: Which thing I also
did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison,
having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were
put to death, I gave my voice against them.
- Acts:26:20: But shewed first
unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts
of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn
to God, and do works meet for repentance.
- Acts:28:17: And it came to pass,
that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and
when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren,
though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our
fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of
the Romans.
- Rom:15:19: Through mighty signs
and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem,
and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of
Christ.
- Rom:15:25: But now I go unto
Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.
- Rom:15:26: For it hath pleased
them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the
poor saints which are at Jerusalem.
- Rom:15:31: That I may be
delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that
my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
- 1Cor:16:3: And when
I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will
I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
- Gal:1:17: Neither went I up to
Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into
Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
- Gal:1:18: Then after three years
I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
- Gal:2:1: Then fourteen years
after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with
me also.
- Gal:4:25: For this Agar is mount
Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now
is, and is in with her children.
- Gal:4:26: But Jerusalem which is
above is free, which is the mother of us all.
- Heb:12:22: But ye are come unto
mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the
heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
- Rv:3:12: Him that overcometh
will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more
out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the
city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven
from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
- Rv:21:2: And I John
saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
- Rv:21:10: And he carried me away
in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great
city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
