- Joel:2:32: And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be
delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as
the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
- Joel:3:1: For, behold, in those
days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah
and Jerusalem,
- Joel:3:6: The children also of
Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians,
that ye might remove them far from their border.
- Joel:3:16: The LORD also shall
roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and
the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the
hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
- Joel:3:17: So shall ye know that
I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall
Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass
through her any more.
- Joel:3:20: But Judah
shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
- Amos:1:2: And he said, The LORD
will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the
habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall
wither.
- Amos:2:5: But I will
send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
- Obad:1:11: In the day that thou
stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away
captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast
lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.
- Obad:1:20: And the captivity of
this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the
Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem,
which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south.
- Micah:1:1: The word of the LORD
that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and
Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
- Micah:1:5: For the transgression
of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel.
What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what
are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
- Micah:1:9: For her wound is
incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my
people, even to Jerusalem.
- Micah:1:12: For the inhabitant
of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD
unto the gate of Jerusalem.
- Micah:3:10: They build up Zion
with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
- Micah:3:12: Therefore shall Zion
for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps,
and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
- Micah:4:2: And many nations
shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of
the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach
us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall
go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
- Micah:4:8: And thou,
O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion,
unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall
come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
- Zeph:1:4: I will also stretch
out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of
the Chemarims with the priests;
- Zeph:1:12: And it shall come to
pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and
punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in
their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
- Zeph:3:14: Sing, O daughter of
Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O
daughter of Jerusalem.
- Zeph:3:16: In that day it shall
be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let
not thine hands be slack.
- Zech:1:12: Then the angel of the
LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have
mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against
which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
- Zech:1:14: So the angel that
communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
- Zech:1:16: Therefore
thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my
house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line
shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
- Zech:1:17: Cry yet, saying, Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be
spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet
choose Jerusalem.
- Zech:1:19: And I said unto the
angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are
the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
- Zech:2:2: Then said I, Whither
goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem,
to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
- Zech:2:4: And said unto him,
Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as
towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:
- Zech:2:12: And the LORD shall
inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem
again.
- Zech:3:2: And the LORD said unto
Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen
Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked
out of the fire?
- Zech:7:7: Should ye not hear the
words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem
was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about
her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?
- Zech:8:3: Thus saith
the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst
of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and
the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
- Zech:8:4: Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell
in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his
hand for very age.
- Zech:8:8: And I will
bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and
they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and
in righteousness.
- Zech:8:15: So again have I
thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of
Judah: fear ye not.
- Zech:8:22: Yea, many
people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts
in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.
- Zech:9:9: Rejoice greatly, O
daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy
King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly,
and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- Zech:9:10: And I will cut off
the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and
the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the
heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from river
even to the ends of the earth.
- Zech:12:2: Behold, I
will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round
about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against
Jerusalem.
- Zech:12:3: And in that day will
I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden
themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the
earth be gathered together against it.
- Zech:12:5: And the governors of
Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem
shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
- Zech:12:6: In that day will I
make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among
the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour
all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left:
and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in
Jerusalem.
- Zech:12:7: The LORD also shall
save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and
the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves
against Judah.
- Zech:12:8: In that day shall the
LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that
is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house
of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
- Zech:12:9: And it shall come to
pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come
against Jerusalem.
- Zech:12:10: And I will pour upon
the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit
of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they
have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his
only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in
bitterness for his firstborn.
- Zech:12:11: In that day shall
there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon
in the valley of Megiddon.
- Zech:13:1: In that day there
shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants
of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
- Zech:14:2: For I will gather all
nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and
the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall
go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut
off from the city.
- Zech:14:4: And his feet shall
stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem
on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof
toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great
valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and
half of it toward the south.
- Zech:14:8: And it shall be in
that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them
toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in
summer and in winter shall it be.
- Zech:14:10: All the land shall
be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it
shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate
unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the
tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.
- Zech:14:11: And men shall dwell
in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but
Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
- Zech:14:12: And this
shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people
that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away
while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in
their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their
mouth.
- Zech:14:14: And Judah also shall
fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall
be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
- Zech:14:16: And it shall come to
pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against
Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
- Zech:14:17: And it shall be,
that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto
Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon
them shall be no rain.
- Zech:14:21: Yea, every pot in
Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and
all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them,
and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the
Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
- Mal:2:11: Judah hath
dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel
and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD
which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.
- Mal:3:4: Then shall the offering
of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of
old, and as in former years.
