I have once again been amazed in the past few days as evidence has been presented that there are still so many in the Christian community who question Israel's right to the land today and who believe that God "threw them away" in the first century. No doubt most of you who receive this report do not need the following but perhaps it will help you in sharing with other people. The issue is pretty clear for anyone who claims to be an uncompromising believer in the Word of God.

1) All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for correction, for reproof and for training in righteousness. 2 Tim. 3:16 Remember that when Paul wrote this to Timothy the ONLY scripture in existence was the Torah, the Prophets and the Writings, what we today call the Old Testament. If you believe this verse to be true, then....

2) Romans 11 :1 says "I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not!"

3) Jeremiah 31: 31-34 says "Behold the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah........this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put My law in their minds and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God and they shall be My people....."

Notice: Jeremiah did NOT say the Lord will make a new covenant with the Gentile Church! The new covenant is with Israel and we are grafted in "among them" (Romans 11: 17-20), thereby through Messiah Yeshua being qualified to partake of the blessings of Abraham through faith. (Gal. 3:14) And in Gal. 3:29 "And if you are Messiah's then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." What promise? The promise made to Abraham, the father of the Jewish Nation, was that God would bless all the nations, not independently, but THROUGH Abraham.

4) The land is theirs by covenant right, confirmed by the prophets - the same prophets who fortold the coming of the Messiah and who foretell His second coming. If you believe what the prophets say about the coming of the Messiah, on what basis do you NOT believe what the same prophets say about Israel, the land and the people? What authority has decided that we can "chop up" the scriptures??? This is irresponsible Bible study at least or downright deception at most. This is only one of more than 200 scriptures that foretell the return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel in the last days: "For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all the countries and bring you back into your own land....then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers and you shall be My people and I will be your God." Ezek. 36:24,28. I recommend that you read the entire chapter - Ezekiel 36.

As we come closer and closer to the end of the age, the requirement to stand boldly and firmly on the truth of the Word of God has never been more important. Take your stand, brothers and sisters, in the prayer closet first, to be sure, but not ONLY there. Be willing to speak the truth whenever you have opportunity.
